B&B Prochytea takes its name from a 1630 work by poet Giulio Cesare Capaccio, who personifies the island of Procida as a nymph named "Prochytea", a name that already carries the essence of the place: staircases climbing to the sky, archways opening onto fragrant gardens, a Procida beyond time.

The rooms

The B&B has double and triple rooms, all soundproofed, spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, fridge, hairdryer and private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The Standard Double room has an independent entrance from the courtyard for added privacy.

Very clean and tidy B&B. The room was identical to the photos, no surprises upon arrival. Very convenient location for getting around, close to the main points of interest. Very abundant breakfast, served directly to the table in the garden. Special mention to Giacomo: nice, welcoming, and helpful. If we were to return to Procida, it will definitely be our go-to place.

The accommodation was perfect, there was nothing to complain about. The host was very friendly, the breakfast in the garden very delicious. The rooms very large and clean, quiet central location. Highly recommended!

We stayed 4 nights at B&B Prochytea, which has a beautiful garden where breakfast was served. We were very satisfied with the host, Giacomo, who was very helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and he gave great tips on restaurants and the ferry. Check-in and check-out was easy and hassle-free. The room was clean and equipped with all necessities such as wifi, fridge and fresh towels. B&B Prochytea is absolutely recommended!

B&B Prochytea is at Via Bartolomeo Pagano 13, in Procida, in a central and peaceful location, a short distance from Pozzo Vecchio beach and the Basilica of Sant'Antonio di Padova. The bus stop is approximately 15 minutes on foot. The port of Marina Grande, with ferries and hydrofoils to Naples, Pozzuoli and Ischia, is easily reached by local transport or bicycle.
