Gorgonia

Really nice experience with an older man waiting on us, (maybe the owner?). Nice view over the harbor. We had antipasti, pasta as primo and fried fish as secondi. Everything was well cooked but we must recommend you to try their lemon pasta. We had it with shrimp and it was the best food we had on our 10 days in Italy. Also extra thanks for showing the Wimbledon finals on the tv🎾.

Really nice location, tables on the pier. Not too many tables and a bit away from the chaos of the larger restaurants. Exquisite staff. Mixed appetizer a bit ordinary, seafood salad, smoked salmon (typical fish of the area), smoked swordfish, one and a half fried meatballs per person, marinated anchovies… really nothing special, when competitors serve you raw shrimp, tartare, sea bass carpaccio… all things that were absent. Patience. It recovers well with the first course, spaghetti with sea urchins really tasty, abundant. Pleasant lemon sorbet. A little over 50 euros per person, without wine, so quite economical. Absolutely worth it for the location, average food.

We ordered 4 appetizers and 4 zucchini in scapece. The seafood appetizers were acceptable, but certainly not excellent. The zucchini in scapece were terrible, bitter, and greasy, and no one ate them. We pointed it out to the waitress, but they charged us for them anyway: only after we mentioned it again did they remove it from the bill, but with a doubtful air and without apologizing.

We have been going there for years and it never disappoints in quality. Seafood salad so flavorful that it doesn't need oil. Good sea urchin spaghetti, perhaps just a bit too creamy. A note: 25 for the sea urchin spaghetti is a bit too high for me.
