Gorgonia

Excellent food, fast service but not very attentive to customers! We had to leave the table because of a sick cat wandering between the tables!

We went to the La Gorgonia restaurant on the advice of our B&B host. We hadn't made a reservation, but they seated us without any problems. Simple restaurant, traditional dishes, overall good; the presentation of the dishes could be improved. Prices are a bit above average compared to what is offered, but in line with the trend of the other restaurants in Marina di Corricella.

Lack of professionalism and a steep bill (in every sense). If you are looking for a place where you will be treated poorly, you are in the right place. In the middle of dinner, the salt shaker opened, spilling all its contents onto my steak. Faced with the disaster, the waitress thought it best not to replace the dish, but to give me an empty plate on which to "move" the now salt-covered meat. The icing on the cake: the owner, when faced with our protest, didn't care at all and made us pay for the steak in full. Embarrassing behavior. I will never set foot there again.

The dish was pretty good. However, after waiting 35 minutes in front of our empty plates, I went inside to pay directly... they are clearly overwhelmed, but I don't think this is the first year there have been crowds in July.
