Gorgonia

Our third great meal in a row in Corricella! At beighbouring restaurants. My fresh prawns were delicious. As was my Tiramisu. My wife' s whole baked fish of the day was also great. wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff. Corricella is spoilt for great seafood restaurants. I would happily recommend this one.

Historic family-run restaurant in Corricella, Procida; the food is average for the island, the sea urchin spaghetti is very good but unfortunately they do not make it Gluten-Free for us Celiacs, for us only main courses, side dishes, and Caprese dessert, but that is fine. Returning to Gorgonia after many years was a wonderful confirmation. The location is simply wonderful: we are in Corricella, in one of the most evocative corners of Procida, and arriving by boat, mooring right in front of the restaurant, and having lunch practically at the water's edge makes the experience even more special. It was a real pleasure to find the same quality I remembered. The spaghetti with sea urchin remains one of the best you can eat in this area. The pasta and beans with mussels is also excellent, a rich and flavorful dish that is absolutely worth trying. The fried mixed fish is confirmed to be delicious, dry and fragrant, and the wine selection is very valid and well thought out to accompany a cuisine so tied to the territory and the catch. Gorgonia remains a mandatory stop for those who come to Procida: authentic seafood cuisine, constant quality over time and a setting that is hard to forget.

The best seafood restaurant I have tried in Procida is La Girgonia, managed by Aniello. It is useless for me to start highlighting all the delicacies they offer you, one above all the spaghetti with sea urchins. Try it to believe it!
