Il Leone di Mare is a complex of rooms set within an ancient garden, close to the beaches of the bay of Chiaiolella, on Procida. An authentic place with a relaxing atmosphere, where time slows down and the scent of lemons accompanies every moment of the day.

The rooms

The rooms, some on the first floor overlooking the garden and the sea, some on the ground floor with a private patio, are bright, contemporary-furnished and equipped with air conditioning, TV, fridge, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Double, triple, quadruple and family rooms are available.

The pool and garden

At the heart of the property is the outdoor pool, with a poolside bar for a snack or an aperitivo. The sheltered position of the pool means it can be enjoyed even on windy days. The surrounding garden, with its English-style lawn and lemon trees, creates an oasis of absolute peace.

Breakfast in the garden is a real treat: pastries, biscuits and local specialities served every morning among the lemon trees, the perfect start to a day on Procida.

Great small hotel. Excellent communication with the hotel about how the hotel can be reached. Very well-maintained garden, nice pool, wonderfully quiet (you wake up to birds), super location, close to the beach and good restaurants. Everything can be done by public transport. Very good breakfast. Awesome!

I stayed in a triple room on the second floor overlooking the sea, but I do not recommend the room for those with mobility problems, as some steps are higher than others in the first ramp to climb and there is no elevator. The room is quite spacious and stocked with useful accessories, cleanliness is acceptable but could be done better; I did not sincerely understand the change of towels for two people when in the room we stayed three adults. PS: the kettle for herbal teas was unusable as it was not cleaned of limestone... maybe try to clean it carefully between guests. Pool large enough and clean, although there is no constant inspection Service. Minimal breakfast, especially for the savory; for a matter of space, not everything was on display, including gluten-free products that I do not know if they were present. The location is quite convenient, there is a short walk from the b & b the bus stop and 10 minutes walk to the beach of Chiaiolella and the seafront. In the vicinity of the b & b there is also the possibility to stock up for meals with mini market, takeaway and takeaway pizzeria. Good Price quality ratio for the period I stayed.

Procida a beautiful island surrounded by a sea of trash

The island is a Pearl set in a filthy sea That's a shame. Breathtaking views and then the disappointment of seeing a sea unworthy of such a beautiful island. I didn't know about such a degradation of the sea otherwise I wouldn't have come. I'm not coming back, unfortunately. I. Italy there are fortunately nice and clean sea places. However, I am sorry to see such natural beauty, defaced in this way. Do something to save the sea of Procida. Capital of culture and cinema are not enough. The sea is the natural element surrounding the island. If this is reduced to unloading ferry ships or private boats, without obvious ability or possibility of control and Contrast by the authorities is a real unacceptable sin for the citizen and for tourism and for future generations
