Designed so as to perfectly combine age old traditions with the highest standards of comfort and technology, Hotel La Tonnara occupies a building once used by Procida's fishermen for the preparation of the "tonnara": a sophisticated system of nets used to catch the fish which inhabit the waters surrounding this beautiful Italian island.

Recovering the sense of pleasure

I am three days stayed with mamy 85 years old in the structure and already I can talk about the kind availability of the staff all. Excellent location because beach "around the corner", sea view in rooms with balcony or window. Restaurants within walking distance, as well as the stops of the delicious buses that travel the island allowing you to visit it all. Another advantage of the structure, atmosphere of peace and silence, a cure-all for those seeking rest from city stress. An ok place for everyone, but great for those who, like me, want to give a loved one not very young a comfortable, relaxing holiday, but without giving up the beautiful swims of youth

Great location but uncomfortable bed

Hotel in a strategic position and a few meters from all the beaches of the Chiaiolella / Vivara side. Clean but very very small room, tiny and uncomfortable bathroom only one window available, then the beach towels and wet costumes to be spread on the solarium on the upper floor. The mole is represented by the bed, really very uncomfortable, very hard, every morning we wake up with pains. It has no restaurant in the property but is close to other restaurants in the area. Good breakfast.

Starting from the warm welcoming at the reception, we truly enjoyed our entire stay in this beautiful, boutique and comfortable Hotel. Excellent location close by the beach, restaurants and easy transportation to the rest of the island. Breakfast service and variety of choices has been exceeding expectations. We definitely recommend La Tonnara Hotel as a first choice in Procida!

Comfortable hotel in a magnificent place

The area is beautiful, like the whole island in truth. It has the added advantage of being practically on the largest and most comfortable beach in Procida. Very large rooms, with ceramics in "marine" colours. Always spotless. Comfortable bathroom and shower and good quality in the courtesy kit. Excellent breakfast in dessert, including the unmissable languages of Procida. Less savory, but for an Italian it's not a problem

Hotel la Tonnara is situated on the island of Procida, close to the bustling tourist harbour of Marina Chiaiolella: one of the island's most fashionable districts. La Tonnara's superbly panoramic position means that guests enjoy 360° views, which encompass the harbour, the beach of "Ciracciello" and the island of Vivara's nature reserve.

Procida is linked to the neighbouring island of Ischia and the mainland ports of Naples and Pozzuoli by regular ferry and hydrofoil services. In the summer season connections are available to many of the celebrated destinations of the gulf of Naples.
