Procida Camp & Resort – Ciraccio

We stayed at Procida Camp & Resort for 10 days at the end of October. It was our first holiday with a child (1.5 years old) and the camp was perfect for that. The staff was lovely and made our stay as comfortable as possible. They even played with our son and really enjoyed spending time with him. The food was tasty and the wine plenty. (Many thanks to the pizza baker for the best pizza on the island!) We stayed in a tiny house, which was great as it was getting a bit colder and stormy towards the end of October. If you are planning on really cooking yourself be sure to bring a kitchen towel and maybe some salt as the tiny house was not really equipped for cooking or drying dishes. If you are looking for a small resort that offers some quite and peace but still a few amenities then this resort is for you. We really had a lovely time and can recommend the accommodation especially because of the people!

We had a great stay in La Caravella: the place is very nice, the staff pleasant, the original and comfortable accommodations. Our 7 and 10 year olds loved the Indy tent, the feeling of living in a small cabin for 5 days. They spent a lot of time walking around the campsite and swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent. The pool is very nice and it is possible to have lunch/dinner on site. It was also super convenient that there was a shuttle pick us up / drop us off at the pier on arrival and departure days. We had the chance to stay at the Caravella at a time when there were several families but without the site being crowded. At the end of the stay, there were a few more people and small associated nuisances can appear (proximity to other tents and therefore noise of telephone conversations, people at the pool, etc.) - nothing insurmountable though. The mini kitchen in the tent could also be a little more equipped but it is still possible to cook. Overall we loved the 5 days spent on site. La Caravella is also quite well placed: a beach right next door, some shops, especially a bus stop nearby, and Procida is not large so everything is within walking distance anyway.
