Disaster. We thought we booked our two nights through the hotel directly. We later found out our reservation was handled by their third party reservation outfit and perhaps the hotel too. Turns out someone hacked into their system and stole vital confidential information on me. They knew everything about my reservation down to when and where to pick me at Procida port for my ferry arrival. So when I received the call I asked how do I know this is the hotel calling. Once they cited my ferry notes I felt comfortable about giving them my credit card number. This was going on late in the evening. Later I get an email written in Italian from the hotel about the hack into their system. I did a google translate and only then did I realize I was a victim of fraud. No warning in English. I responded to the sender of the email. I asked if under Italian consumer law if I am protected from fraud especially since the hotel or through its third party reservation system processed my personal information which was later breached. I asked several times and the person insisted the hotel is not liable. When I asked about the protective law in Italy I got zero response. Add insult to injury I got zero sympathy. No “we are sorry about the convenience” No discount or free dinner. Nada. Not once did they bring up the subject as if it never happened.

Loved our stay. Location is utterly fabulous. Could not be better. Staff were friendly, loved the Boho chic feel about the hotel and thought the breakfast was good. Ate at the restaurant too and thought the food was excellent.

We stayed at this hotel the week before and gave an excellent review after a great stay. We decided to return a week later and the reception we received when we returned was shocking, the lady at the desk could not of been ruder and more unhelpful if she tired. We had called ahead in the morning to ask if an extra bed could be put in our room ( at a cost obviously) as our Daughter had been retuning to the UK but was to unwell to travel so needed to stay with us. The lady on the phone agreed but when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist didn’t not know and made a terrible scene about it. Our Daughter was already upset and unwell and this made her even worse. We spent 45 minutes at reception while she rang up many People and banged around the reception area. She finally took us to a room which was the wrong room and when I pointed this out it made her even worse. We do not know what all the upset was over as the room was plenty big enough for an extra bed and the delightful house keeper brought us an extra bed in 5 minutes and said it was NO problem what so ever. It upset us all for the whole evening. I have worked in the service industry for 35 years and nobody should treat anyone in the way. Shocking !

A fairytale location right on the Corricella harbor... the FAMOUS room is beautiful, meticulously cared for, and breakfast features good and delicious products served at the restaurant by the harbor... 🔝
