Personale davvero cordiale. Le camere una meraviglia per il benessere dei clienti. Non volevamo più andare via. Consigliatissimo.

This is a difficult review to write. We loved our stay in Procida - it is a small island with not too many tourists and a beautiful and relaxing place for a holiday. The hotel is in an excellent position with rooms sloping down to the sea. The views are incredible and it is very enjoyable to watch the activities of the bay below - which is a mixture of local fishing boats, tourist trip boats and visiting boats. It is a peaceful bay with a handful of restaurants or bars in the immediate area on the shore below. If you have a room with a large terrace, you will have just about the best vantage point on the whole island! The port and main strip of the town is less than 10 minutes walk away with many other food choices. You can swim in the nearby water but it is better to walk 10-15 minutes elsewhere to nicer beaches - Lingua or Chaia are nicer. The attached Il Pescatore restaurant is a pleasant environment but the food itself is adequate but nothing special. Breakfast is served there, and again it is a pleasant way to start the day and the staff are welcoming, but the offerings could be improved. For example, coco pops are offered but not muesli, a plain omelette without fillings is offered a no variations allowed, and sadly the coffee is sub standard. The reception area is welcoming and the staff friendly. The hotel has been designed as a bohemian boutique hotel but there are many design flaws. It is over 5 levels and there is a lift but for unknown reasons the use of the lift is strongly discouraged. The bathroom is basic and not of boutique or 4 star standard. The major problem is the wooden beams over the balcony which provide no shade at all - this means the balcony is too hot to sit on during the day in summer. If I owned the hotel, I would remove these immediately and put umbrellas in their place. We all banged our heads several times on the low hanging wooden light covers and the ones near the bed do not provide enough light to read. Lack of proper maintenance is letting the hotel down. The external walls which are a beautiful white colour have many stained yellowy patches where repairs appear to have been made but not fully completed. The shower head drips loudly for a very long time after use. Our group had 2 rooms and both showers had the same problem. The hot water ran out on two different days. Some sun beds were without mattresses. Most concerningly, the balcony door was broken so that it did not lock and while I reported immediately, nothing was done to repair it in our 4 night stay. The hotel is still very new but it will lose its allure quickly if maintenance is ignored. The sister hotel “La Suites” is heavily promoted by SMBH with pre-arrival emails, upon check-in and in a brochure in the rooms. It is a 10 minute shuttle bus away, and is inland so no views, but it has a lovely pool and lounging areas with food and drinks services. We spent a pleasant half day there and enjoyed lunch by the pool albeit typical poolside inflated prices. This was spoilt upon checkout when a 15E per head charge was added for its use. This should be made clear upfront. In summary, this hotel is in a lovely setting with incredible views but some improvements are needed to make it a 4 star boutique hotel.

Lovely hotel in superb location on stunning island . We had a junior suite but found the small balcony to be too tall to see over when seated so upgraded our room to the suite with the large terrace . This was SO much nicer as we had so much more room to enjoy the veiw . The decor is lovely and one of the reception staff was particularly helpful . The other seemed unable to help much.
