Perfect location, steps from Procida's beaches

  1. The 180° view over Marina Grande, the Gulf of Naples and the Flegrea coast

  2. The location: step off the ferry, cross the road and 54 steps later you're in your room

  3. Grotte and Lingua beaches less than 200 metres away

Why settle for a sea view when you can be on the sea? Vento di Mare B&B is located directly on Marina Grande port, in the characteristic yellow building to the left of Palazzo Merlato. Step off the hydrofoil or ferry, cross the road, climb 54 steps and you're there. Less than 200 metres away: the Grotte beach (also known as the Innamorati) and, on the opposite side, the Lingua beach, bars, restaurants and shops all within arm's reach.

The rooms

Maestrale, Tramontana and Levante are the winds that will cool your summer on Procida and the names of the B&B's three rooms. All have been recently renovated, blending comfort and style with modern amenities: soft, relaxing colours in sandy tones and coastal moods, while the unmistakable 19th-century Procidan architecture is preserved in every detail.

Open the window and "wow!": all the blue of Procida is right there in front of you. With a single 180° glance from your room, you take in the entire Marina Grande seafront, the church bell tower, the returning fishing boats, the Flegrea coast, the Capo Miseno lighthouse and Naples on the horizon, then you simply get lost in the blue.

The location

From the balcony or terrace of your room, you breathe the unmistakable Procida atmosphere, touched by the sea breeze. Looking out over Marina Grande from above is a unique experience that makes you both participant and spectator in your holiday and every morning begins again with breakfast and that view.

Dream B&B at the Port

It is located at the port right in front of the ferry stop and the local bus stop. A premise: it is a typical Procida house characterized by stairs. This poses some difficulties for those with problems or for those with children in strollers. The stay was fantastic in the Levante room located on the top floor. It has a terrace with loungers, a small sofa from where you can admire the gulf and have breakfast, as well as cool off after dinner. For early risers, the view of the sunrise is recommended. Daily cleaning is very thorough with towel changes and a clean smell upon return. Large bathroom with a bathtub. Thanks to Enrico and his wife for the excellent advice, including Mimmo's suggestion for the boat trip, and some spot assistance like finding a supermarket.

Lovely stay by the sea. Nice room with a large balcony which looked out to sea with us. The room was beautiful with every comfort. Breakfast was fine and was served in the morning in the room. Nice location near Bari. On the recommendation of the owner we parked our car at a P&R for 1 euro per day where the bus also stops to the center. we were very happy with this tip as it is not very easy to find a parking space in the city. We highly recommend Vento di Mare!

Those goddamn stairs!

The Bad & Breakfast Vento di Mare is considered, by reviews, as one of the best Structures in Procida. The rating is pertinent because it is a property located a few meters from the ferry dock, with excellent views of the Port and with impeccable cleanliness rarely found in other hotels (the smell of cleanliness is so intense and you can even smell it on the stairs). Well, the stairs are unfortunately the sore point. To access the 3 rooms it is necessary to climb about 50 steps (high ones) and of course make as many when you decide to go down. "You keep fit," you might say... However, it should be borne in mind that there may be elderly people, people with walking problems, families with strollers, people with heart problems, etc. Climbing 50 (high) steps with heavy and/or bulky luggage can create problems for many people and the risk should not be underestimated from a medical point of view. In its official portal the structure writes "Climbing the typical stairs of local houses, etc, etc" ... It is a somewhat sibylline description (to be able to say "we have indicated it") , but one that is careful not to specify that the steps are about 50 and are also high. Our choice was to lose the entire fee now paid , give up the stay and change Structure the next day (being physically unable to take those stairs). From this point of view our experience has been negative (and here we report it with the sole purpose of preventing other customers from facing the same problem as us). For intellectual honesty, however, the other positive aspects of the structure should be noted: exemplary cleanliness, cozy and well-kept rooms, views of the port, convenient location to everything (ships, taxis, buses, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.).

B&B just great! In front of the arrival of the ferries convenient and a stone's throw from bars and shops! But the most spectacular thing was the Maestrale room: sea view from two French windows, balcony with sea view sitting area and welcome drink! The structure is spotless, new and equipped with all the necessary amenities! Very large bathroom and spacious shower! The lady very kind and really very helpful and hospitable, provided us with all the information necessary to enjoy the best of our stay! We will definitely be back!
