    Procida exciting in tranquility

Despite someone has written different things, I consider Villa Caterina an excellent B&B in the heart of Procida!!!! You can get there quietly on foot from the port, with a fifteen-minute walk, but you can take a minibus (line C1) that leaves right next to the Port Authority, ticket office area. The bus costs 1.70 eur and after 10 min drops you directly at the beginning of the street at the intersection with Via Regina Elena. The island is particular, densely inhabited and "crowded", so you move between alleys and alleys, but get off the bus just take a short walk and once you arrive you are in a wonderful and shady garden full of oranges and lemons. The residence is a late nineteenth century villa completely renovated. Our room was the Geppino, upstairs, brand new, has a small balcony overlooking the garden, furnished with taste and practicality and equipped with a large bathroom clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and we rested very well since we are in one of the quietest places on the island. Breakfast with fresh local produce in the garden, pampered by one of the owners, Enzo who was prodigal with advice, map in hand, to show us the best excursions on the island. Truly a Top stay, courtesy, cleanliness, hospitality and setting that made it even more beautiful to stay on the island. Last but not least, on the advice of the owner, we were able to rent with delivery directly in the structure of an electric scooter: "zero emissions" is the company slogan of a very nice gentleman, Antonio who was very kind and indeed, having turned wide and far he also joined us to replace the batteries, however not exhausted after many kilometers. An effective, agile, practical vehicle that has allowed us to run far and wide without problems, manageable by a dedicated app easy and functional. In short, an exciting Procida that has remained in our hearts, as well as for the beauty of the places, also for the choice of accommodation apt!

Unreachable. Very uncomfortable. Away from everything. All pretty dirty. The owner is a big talker. Pretty poor breakfast. Mute waitress. Beautiful garden but with little furniture. The quality/price ratio is off.

We stayed in this very beautiful villa, Mr. Enzo was super helpful from the first moment, giving us the possibility of accessing the rooms 1 hour early. The super breakfast was also provided for those like me who are lactose intolerant, there was availability of lactose-free milk and yogurt. The stairs to access the rooms are a little high and our room has a bathroom without a window (not the best) but the room was quite spacious. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. The distance to the property from the bus stop is 500m and 10' on foot.

A stay worthy of an excellent rating, due to the courtesy of the owner Mr Enzo and his staff. Our room was spacious and clean. The villa is located in a beautiful position surrounded by a beautiful garden with many orange trees. The breakfast with local products and homemade jams was excellent!!!
